Make a fun skeleton craft for kids with this free printable. I love how this skeleton moves. Simply, print, cut, and assemble the skeleton pieces.
Halloween is the perfect time to get creative with spooky crafts. This build a skeleton craft is an easy and fun activity for kids. It’s a free printable that’s simple to put together, and it can even be made into a moving skeleton.
Whether you’re looking for a quick classroom project or a fun activity at home, this craft is a great way to celebrate the Halloween season.
To start, just print out the skeleton template. Then, cut out each bone piece carefully. If you want to make a skeleton that moves, you’ll need paper fasteners (also called brads) and a hole punch.
Simply punch a hole where the circles are marked on the bones. Use the fasteners to connect two pieces together by threading them through the holes. Once all the pieces are connected, you’ll have a moving skeleton that kids can pose in different positions.
If you don’t have paper fasteners, no problem. You can glue the bones together instead. Just arrange the pieces the way you want and glue them onto a piece of construction paper.
Kids love being able to customize their skeletons, so feel free to get creative. You can print the template on colored paper for a unique look. Or let kids color the bones before putting them together.
This craft is not only a fun Halloween activity, but it also helps kids with fine motor skills. Cutting, gluing, or connecting the pieces strengthens their hand-eye coordination. Plus, they’ll love the chance to build their very own skeleton.
