We used our cardboard tube heart stamp to decorate the teacher’s Valentines gift bags. It looks amazing and very festive for Valentine’s Day. The kids are so proud of their bags, and they can’t wait to give them to their teachers.
The kids were amazed that you could make shapes from toilet paper rolls. They discussed other shapes to make with cardboard tubes.

Bend the toilet paper tube into a heart shape. If your toilet paper tube isn’t holding the heart shape, you can put tape around the toilet paper tube.
Dip the end of the toilet paper tube into paint. Then press the toilet paper tube onto your paper. Repeat.
Enjoy your heart stamp artwork. You can use this technique to create wrapping paper, Valentine’s cards and to decorate gift bags.
Ways To Adapt This Craft
We made red hearts. You can use different colors of paint to make your hearts.
You could also paint the inside of your hearts after you stamped them. You could draw squiggly lines from the bottom of the hearts to make heart balloons.
You can use this stamp to make Valentine’s Day cards or gift bags.
