Supplies Needed
- Earth man template (see link below)
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Construction paper (optional)

How To Make an Earth Man
Step 1: Print
Start by printing the Earth Man template. See link below.
Step 2: Color
Use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to color all the parts. If you prefer, you can use the template to cut the shapes from colored construction paper instead.
We colored the earth and mouth with crayons. We cut out the arms, legs, hands, and feet from blue and green construction paper.
Step 3: Cut
Carefully cut out all the Earth Man pieces.
Step 4: Fold
Take the arm and leg pieces and fold them back and forth in an accordion style.
Step 5: Glue
Glue together the Earth man:
- Glue the eyes and mouth onto the Earth.
- Glue the longer rectangles as the legs.
- Then, glue a foot to the bottom of each leg.
- Glue the shorter rectangles as the arms.
- Glue a hand to the end of each arm.
Now you have a super cute Earth person to celebrate Earth Day. You can hang him up, put him on the fridge, or even use him as a puppet for storytelling.
