Make a fun and festive holiday craft with this printable elf craft for kids. Kids can color, cut, and glue an elf together. An easy Christmas activity for home or classroom.
I love simple crafts that make kids smile, and this printable elf craft is one of my favorites. It’s perfect for the holidays and so easy to make. Kids can color, cut, and glue their own cheerful elf together.
All you need is the free printable, crayons or markers, scissors, and glue. Print the page on regular paper or cardstock if you want it to be sturdier.
Start by coloring each piece of the elf — the hat, head, arms, legs, and body. Kids can use traditional Christmas colors like red and green, or they can get creative with any colors they want. That’s what makes it fun.
Once everything is colored, it’s time to cut. Little hands might need some help with the smaller pieces, but this is a great way to practice cutting skills.
After the pieces are cut out, it’s time to build the elf. Glue the arms and legs onto the body, then add the head and hat on top. Each elf will look a little different, and that’s the best part.
This craft is perfect for classrooms, holiday parties, or a cozy afternoon at home. You can even hang the finished elves on the wall or make a fun holiday banner.
If your kids enjoy coloring and crafting, they’ll love this printable elf. It’s simple, festive, and an easy Christmas craft for kids to make.
