Step 2: Cut Out the Ghost.

Carefully cut out the ghost template along the lines. Try to make sure there isn’t any of the black line showing.

Step 3: Punch Holes Along the Sides.

Using your hole punch, make a series of holes along the sides of your ghost. These holes will be where you thread the yarn.

Step 4: Thread the Yarn.

Cut a piece of white yarn, and if it’s tricky to thread through the holes, put a small piece of tape on one end. This will make it easier to slide through the holes without fraying.

Thread the yarn through the holes in any pattern you like. You can go across, zig zag or along the edge.

When you first start, tape the end to the back of the ghost.

Step 5: Tape the Yarn to the Back.

Once you’re satisfied with your yarn design, tape the loose end of the yarn to the back of your paper ghost. This secures the yarn and gives your ghost a clean finish.

Now it’s time to give your ghost some personality. Stick two googly eyes onto your ghost’s face. You can place them close together or give your ghost a pair of silly, wonky eyes for extra character.
