How To Make the Fall Gnome
Step 1: Print the free template.
Start by printing the free fall gnome template (see link below). This template has all the pieces you need to make your gnome, including a leaf beard, a hat, and a nose.
Step 2: Color the gnome parts.
Once you have your template, color each part of the gnome. Get creative with fall colors like orange, red, yellow, and brown. We used orange, red, yellow, and tan for our craft.
Step 3: Cut out the gnome pieces.
Carefully cut out the colored parts of the gnome. Young kids may need an adult to assist with the scissors.
Step 4: Glue the gnome together.
Now it’s time to put your gnome together. Glue the hat to the top of the leaf beard. Next, glue the nose where the hat and leaf beard meet.
Optional: Add a background.
For an extra touch, glue your gnome to a piece of construction paper. You can even add more decorations like leaves, acorns, or pumpkins to make your gnome look ready for fall.
