How to Use the Earth Day Word Scramble
Print out the free Earth Day activity sheet (see link below). You’ll see 11 Earth Day-themed words with the letters all mixed up. Kids try to figure out the correct word for each one. Words like “river” “flower,” and “tree” are in there.
Each scrambled word has a small picture next to it. This gives kids a clue to help them solve the word. If they get stuck, they can look at the picture for a hint. The pictures make the page look cute and colorful.
If you’re planning an Earth Day celebration at school or at home, this word scramble is a great activity to add to your plans. It’s easy to prep – simply print it out. You don’t need any extra supplies, and kids can work at their own pace.
