My kids loved making this Christmas tree craft. I think my kids made a whole mini forest.

My daughter says she is going to use the trees to decorate her Lego city. My son plans to use his to decorate his block city.

I love how this Christmas tree craft stands up. The toilet paper tube is the tree stump and it also makes the tree stand up. This would make a perfect holiday decoration for a mantel or table.

Their favorite part was decorating the trees. I think my daughter decorated every inch of the green construction paper.

The first step of this simple kids Christmas craft is to either print the free tree template or you can draw the Christmas tree. Also, the precut foam Christmas tree shapes work.

After you have cut out the Christmas tree, then comes the fun part. Decorating your tree. You can use markers, paint, glitter glue, stickers, or beads to decorate your tree.

We used craft supplies that we already had at home. My kids decorated their tree with stamps, glitter glue, and stickers.

My kids are 7 and 8 and were able to make this kids craft by themselves. Depending on the age of your child, you may need to cut out the tree shape.

Or you can draw a tree shape on green paper. Another option is to use green foam tree shapes.

Step 2: Next, cut out your Christmas tree. you do not need a tree stump. The toilet paper tube will be your tree stump.

Step 3: Have fun decorating your tree. Be creative with markers, crayons, stickers and other craft supplies.

Step 4: Then, glue the paper tree to the toilet paper tube. Let some of the toilet paper tube show (this is the stump of the tree).
