Easy Folded Accordion Christmas Tree Craft

This folded accordion Christmas tree is a super simple Christmas craft for kids. You may already have all of the supplies at home. And it takes less than 30 minutes to make.

These paper Christmas trees make a wonderful decoration for your home or kid’s bedroom. I love decorating the house with crafts my kids make.

My kids made these Christmas trees in less than 30 minutes with minimal mess. I love crafts that aren’t messy.

These paper trees will also make a great craft for a classroom or Sunday school class. Makes a great decoration for a bulletin board or hallway.

You start with green construction paper. You can use any shade. We used a dark green.

Next, you fold it like you would fold a paper fan. I used tape to hold the shape, but you could use a stapler.

We decorated our trees with pom poms because we had a lot left over from a previous craft project.

Add a paper star to the top of the tree and a brown rectangle for the stump. That’s it for this super simple craft.

In the video, I used a glue stick, but we found that using liquid school glue held the pom poms better on the tree.

Ways to Modify This Craft
