This Easter craft makes an adorable Easter Bunny Basket out of a brown paper lunch bag. It is a perfect home or classroom Easter craft.
This handmade paper bag Easter basket is an unique way to give an Easter present.
This craft is versatile, it can be made with a brown or white paper bag. I had brown paper bags, so I made a brown bunny.
The bunny’s face can be simple, or your kids can be creative. We used googly eyes, pom poms and chenille stems to make our bunny face.

Paper Bag Easter Bunny Basket Instructions
Draw bunny ears halfway down the front corners of the paper bag. I started at the top corner and drew a half oval on each side and drew a line to connect them.
Next, cut along the line you drew. (Cut out the bunny’s ears)
On the front of the bag, glue 2 googly eyes. Glue on 1 pink pom pom for the nose. Cut 3 chenille stems in half. Glue chenille stems on the front of bag for the bunny’s whiskers.
Cut 2 small ovals out of the pink construction paper. This will be the inside of the bunny’s ears.
Glue 1 small pink oval to each bunny ear.
Then, add green tissue paper or green Easter grass to the bag.
Tie the front and back of each of the bunny’s ears together with yarn.
Fill your bag with plastic eggs or other Easter treats.
I hope you enjoy making this Easter bunny bag basket.
