Here is another mess free kids Halloween craft. Learn how to make a Halloween spider web jar for a spooky Halloween decoration.
Yesterday, we made and shared Halloween mummy jars. They look so cute on my fireplace mantel with my wooden pumpkins.
As I was looking at Halloween decorations this morning, I thought the spider web decoration would make another great jar craft.
As with the mummy jar craft, I did not use any glue with the spider web jar.
I handed my third grader a jar and some spider web decoration and told her to wrap the jar. The spider web had enough cling to it to stick to the jar.
You can add glue to the jar if your spider web isn’t sticking.
For the spider, I used a plastic black spider ring. I cut off the ring part of the spider.
The spider was placed in the webbing on the front of the jar. You may need to add a little glue to get the spider to stick to the spider web.
You can add a battery operated votive candle to make a candle holder. Or you could use it as a pencil holder.

Cut a small piece from the spider web decoration. Pull apart the spider web decoration. Wrap the spider web around the mason jar. You can add glue to the mason jar if the spider web isn’t sticking.
Then, place a plastic black spider in the webbing on the front of the mason jar.
You can add a battery-operated votive candle to your spider web jar.
