Create the cutest fall decor with this easy Toilet Paper Pumpkin Craft. Perfect for kids and adults, this DIY project transforms a roll of toilet paper into a festive pumpkin using fabric and a few simple touches. Great for classroom crafts, home decor, or a fun fall activity.
I have seen these toilet paper pumpkins on Pinterest. I never really thought anything about it until I found some orange scrap fabric.
My daughter (who is 8) and I decided to make one. It was so easy to make and looks super cute. The only problem is that we had enough scrap fabric to make one.
To start this craft, you need a fabric square. We used a 20 inch by 20 inch square orange fabric. You can use any color you like or that would work with your decor.
Then, you fold up the corners of the fabric around the toilet paper. That’s it! It is so easy.
For the stem, you can use a stick from your yard or some cinnamon sticks. My daughter found a plastic stem from something else and we used the plastic stem.
No glue or messy paint is required for this craft. Sometimes, it is great to make a craft without making a lot of mess.
And it is even better when I can use stuff from around the house and not have to buy anything. I love using scrap pieces to make beautiful crafts.

- Green ribbon – a scrap piece is fine
- Small stick
- Toilet paper
Toilet Paper Pumpkin Instructions
Lay your fabric square on a flat surface. Place the toilet paper roll in the center of the fabric. Tip: to make a fuller pumpkin unroll some of the toilet paper and then re-roll.
Then, fold up one corner of the fabric and put it in the center of the toilet paper tube. Repeat for each corner.
Make sure you press the fabric all the way in the center of the toilet paper, this will make sure the fabric stays in place.
Then, tie a small piece of ribbon around a small stick. We used a plastic pumpkin stem.
Press the pumpkin stem or stick into the center of your toilet paper pumpkin.
I hope you enjoy your festive fall toilet paper pumpkin. We put it on the fireplace mantel.
