Step 1: Print
Start by printing the free circle turkey template. This template includes all the pieces needed to make your turkey.
Step 2: Color
Use crayons, colored pencils or markers to color the parts of the turkey.
Or you can use it as a template to cut out the shapes from construction paper. We made our turkey with construction paper.
Step 3: Cut
After coloring, carefully cut out each piece.
Step 4: Glue the Turkey Together
- Body: Start with the large circle for the body.
- Face: Glue the eyes, beak, and wattle onto the large circle to make the face.
- Feathers: Arrange the oval feathers around the top and sides of the large circle. This will give your turkey a colorful, fanned-out tail.
- Wings: Glue one wing on each side of the large circle.
- Legs: Finally, attach the two small oval legs to the bottom of the large circle.
Step 5: Add Details
To finish, draw little toes on the legs. Kids can even add extra patterns or designs on the feathers if they want.
