Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate with my kids. There’s something so special about gathering around the table, sharing what we’re thankful for, and making memories together. And of course, we love doing holiday crafts.
This year, we added a printable pilgrim craft to our Thanksgiving fun. It’s simple, hands-on, and easy for kids to make. Plus, it gave us a chance to talk about the history of Thanksgiving in a way that was easy to understand.
My youngest child especially enjoyed this one. He got to color, cut, and glue — all his favorite things. The pieces are easy to work with, and the lines are simple and bold. It was a great way to sneak in some fine motor practice too.
The best part? He was so proud of his little pilgrim when it was finished. We even hung it up on the cabinet door with our other Thanksgiving decorations.

How to Make the Pilgrim Craft
Step 1: Print
Print the pilgrim craft template. See link below.
Step 2: Color
Color the parts of the pilgrim. You can get creative or keep it traditional.
Step 3: Cut
Carefully cut out all the pieces.
Step 4: Glue
Glue the pieces together to build your pilgrim.
That’s it! Your child now has a sweet Thanksgiving craft they made all by themselves.
Make It Meaningful
You can make little speech bubbles and write what their pilgrims said what they were thankful for.
