My kids and I made this craft on a chilly afternoon. We were talking about our favorite fall desserts, and of course, pumpkin pie came up. That gave me the idea for this cute little pie craft.
All you need is the free printable, scissors, glue, and crayons or markers. That’s it.
My youngest was so proud of her finished pie. She even asked if we could make a real one next. It was such a sweet moment. I love when a craft leads to curiosity and conversation.
You can turn this craft into a pretend play activity too. My kids set up a little “pie shop” with their finished crafts. They took turns being the baker and the customer. It was adorable—and it kept them busy for quite a while.
This is also a great craft for Thanksgiving Day. While the grown-ups are busy in the kitchen, kids can sit at the table and work on their craft.
You could even use this as a place card for the Thanksgiving table. Just write each guest’s name on their pie and set it at their seat. It adds a personal touch and gets the kids involved in decorating.
Crafting together is one of my favorite ways to make memories. It doesn’t have to be fancy or perfect. Just some paper, glue, and time together is more than enough.
