How To Make a Candy Corn Person
For a video tutorial on how to make the candy corn person, please watch the YouTube video below.
Step 1: Print
Print the free craft template. See link below.
Step 2: Color
Color all the parts of the candy corn person. We used orange and yellow markers.
Step 3: Cut
Carefully cut out all the parts of the candy corn person.
Step 4: Make the Face
Glue the eyes onto the candy corn towards the top. Then, draw a mouth under the eyes. We used a black marker to draw on a mouth.
Step 5: Make the Arms and Legs
Cut four strips of construction paper. Each strip should be about 1 inch wide. We used orange and yellow construction paper. Don’t worry, the measurements don’t have to be exact.
Step 6: Fold
Fan fold (accordion fold) the 4 construction paper strips. This step may be a challenge for younger kids, so this step can be skipped. You can have straight arms and legs.
Step 7: Glue the Arms and Legs
Glue one folded strip to each side of the candy corn. These are the arms. Then, glue two folded strips to the bottom of the candy corn. These will be the legs.
Step 8: Add the Hands and Boots
Glue a hand at the end of each arm. Then, glue a boot at the end of each leg.
