This memory came to me while I was making these dragonfly crafts with my kids. Isn’t it funny, how doing a simple craft reminds you of a very distant memory?

Step 1: Twist each chenille stem into a figure 8.

Step 2: Place both chenille stems in the clothespin. If you want, you can add glue to make it more secure.

The figure 8 chenille stems are placed in the clothespin to form the dragonfly's wings.

Step 3: Decorate your dragonfly. Glue 1 pom pom on the clothespin at the end with the wings. Glue 2 googly eyes on the pom pom.

Step 4: Decorate your dragonfly’s body (the clothespin) with jewel stickers, buttons, or beads.
