For a video tutorial, please watch the YouTube video.
Step 1: Paint the paper plate.
Start by painting a paper plate in a rainbow pattern. We painted rainbow stripes, but you can get creative with your colors. Let the paint dry completely.
Step 2: Paint the back.
Once the front is dry, flip the paper plate over and paint the same rainbow pattern on the back side. Let the paint dry completely.
Step 3: Draw a spiral.
Next, using a pencil, lightly draw a spiral on the paper plate.
Step 4: Cut out the spiral.
Carefully cut along the spiral line that you drew.
Step 5: Prepare the pot of gold.

Then use your favorite coloring medium, color the pot of gold. We used markers.
Next, cut out the pot of gold.
Step 6: Glue the pot of gold.
Next, glue the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow spiral.
Step 7: Make a hole.
Use a hole punch to punch a hole at the center of the spiral.
Step 8: Add string.
Tie a piece of string through the hole (making a loop) to hang it up.
Step 9: Hang and enjoy.
Hang the rainbow twirler craft and watch it spin. It’s a festive decoration for any occasion.
