Your sports enthusiast kids can make their very own sports magnets. This sports magnet craft is perfect for a school locker or your refrigerator at home.
We made these fun soccer and baseball magnets. They look really good on our refrigerator.
My son plays baseball and my daughter loves watching soccer. So we made baseball and soccer magnets.
You can make any sport that you want. You can make a basketball or a tennis ball magnet. There are many possibilities.
You can use a glass stone and magnet kit to make this craft or you can use glass filler beads for vases. Just make sure they have a flat back to attach a magnet.
Start by tracing around the glass stone on white paper and then draw and color your sports ball on the white circle.
If your child has difficulty drawing a ball, you can always use clipart. There are many free clipart sports pictures you can use.

Sports Magnets Instructions
Step 1: Trace around your glass disk onto white paper. Cut out the circle.
Step 2: Draw a sports ball on the white paper. We made one baseball and one soccer ball.
To make the baseball, we used a red pen to draw the baseball stitching. To make the soccer ball, we used a black pen to draw the soccer ball pattern.
Step 3: Glue the paper ball to the back of the glass stone (the flat side).
Step 4: Glue a small magnet to the back of the glass stone.
Hang your sports magnets on the refrigerator and enjoy. Also, it makes a great locker magnet for school.
Ways To Modify This Craft
You can use paint pens to draw your sports ball on the back of the glass stone. Let dry completely and then glue the magnet to the back. We did not try this method.
