Handprint 4th of July Wreath Instructions
Cut out the center of a paper plate.
Next, trace your child’s hand on the red, blue and white paper. Cut out the handprints.
My kids are 7 years old and I made 3 handprints of each color. Depending on the age of your child, you may need more handprints.
Then, glue your child’s handprint to the paper plate wreath. You can make a pattern of red, white, blue and repeat. Or you can put the blue hands together and alternate red and white handprints to make a traditional flag pattern.
Tape a string in a loop on the back of your paper plate wreath. This will allow you to hang your wreath.
Hang your handprint 4th of July wreath on your door or window and enjoy!
Ways To Modify This Craft
Instead of tracing your child’s hand, you can use your child’s handprint. Paint your child’s hand red and press his hand on white paper. Let the paint dry completely, then cut out the colored handprint. Repeat with each color.
