How To Make a Heart Butterfly

Step 1: Print the template.
Begin by printing out the free butterfly template. See link below.
Step 2: Color the parts of the butterfly.
Grab your crayons or colored pencils or markers and color all the parts of the butterfly. We used red, yellow, purple, and pink markers.
Step 3: Cut out the butterfly pieces.
Carefully cut out each part of the butterfly along the outlines.
Step 4: Assemble the butterfly.
Begin by gluing the 5 hearts for the butterfly’s body. We used a glue stick and glued the butterfly to white paper.
Next, glue on the butterfly’s wings.
Then, glue on the butterfly’s antennae and small hearts.
Step 5: Add a face.
Bring your butterfly to life by adding googly eyes. Don’t worry if you don’t have googly eyes, you can always draw eyes on your butterfly. Then, draw a cute smiley face (we used a black marker).
