This DIY Valentine’s Day photo card is simple to make. I already had all of the supplies in my craft room, which made me happy.
My daughter was proud that she could make hearts. (Last Valentine’s Day she struggled to make a heart). So, she made the hearts for this Valentine’s craft.

DIY Valentine’s Day Photo Card Supplies:
- Construction paper
- Photo of child
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Markers
DIY Heart Photo Card Instructions:
Step 1: Fold 1 sheet of construction paper in half. (I used red.)
Step 2: Next, draw a heart on the folded construction paper. The edge of the heart shape should hang over the fold in the paper.
Step 3: Then, cut out the heart shape. Do not cut through the fold. Next, open the card. You should see two heart shapes connected.
Step 4: Cut out another smaller heart shape from a different color construction paper. (I used pink).
Step 5: Glue the smaller heart onto the bigger heart, for the front of the card.
Step 6: Then, cut out a small heart shape from your child’s photo.
Step 7: Glue the heart shape photo onto the front of the card.
Step 8: Decorate the inside of the card.
