Easy Valentine’s Day craft for kids. Learn how to make paper heart frames. A creative craft to use leftover paper heart outlines from making heart shapes.

We have been making Valentine’s Day crafts the past couple of weeks and we have a lot of paper heart outlines left over. I hate to just throw them away. Am I the only one with a lot of paper heart outlines?

I was looking at the outlines and the kids artwork and I decided to combine the two. For the smaller heart outlines, I cut their artwork to fit.

I like how the heart frames makes their artwork look festive.

Paper Heart Frames Supplies:

your child’s painting or drawing
leftover heart outlines from making paper hearts
glue

Paper Heart Frames Instructions:

Gather your leftover heart outlines from making Valentine hearts. If you don’t have any, you can make some. Just fold a piece of construction paper in half and cut out half a heart shape.

Then, glue a heart outline on top of your child’s artwork. Easy peasy (one of my daughter’s favorite sayings, I think her teacher must say it frequently).

If your child’s artwork is bigger than the heart, you can cut the artwork to fit.

I found using a glue stick for this craft was easier than using a bottle of glue.
