My kids had fun picking out the photos for these cards. They wanted to use pictures from when they were little. On the inside of the card, we wrote “Do you remember when we were this little?”

My kids loved turning the wheel on this card and watching the pictures appear in the window. I bet they could spend hours turning the wheel on the card.

My kids needed a lot of help with this craft. The kids picked out the photos and I made the card.

It is a cute and unique Valentine’s Day card, but it was complicated to make.

Most of the time was spent looking at photos, which led us to look at photo albums. My kids can spend hours looking through photo albums.

They are always amazed that they were that tiny. I love sharing memories with them. Do any of your children love to look at photos?

Photo Wheel Valentine’s Card Instructions:

Fold the red cardstock in half to make a card.

Draw a circle on white cardstock. I traced a bowl to make it easier for me to draw a circle. Make sure that the circle is not bigger than your card. Cut out the circle from the cardstock. (We used scissors with a decorative edge).

Next, cut 1 heart shape from each of your 4 photos. I used a foam heart as my stencil.

Then, glue the photo hearts to the white circle with their tips at the center of the circle.

Place the white circle “wheel” on inside of the red card. Make sure part of the white circle “wheel” sticks out from the side of the card. Poke a tiny hole on the front of the red card where the paper fastener will be. Important – do not attach the white circle to the card yet.

Trace the same heart shape that you used on the photos on the front of your card, so that the tip of the heart is in line with the tiny hole.

Cut out the heart to make a window on your card.

Decorate the front of your card.

Fasten the wheel to the inside front of the card with a paper fastener, so the heart shaped photos show through the hole.

Enjoy your photo wheel Valentine’s Day card. I am impressed with the way this turned out.
