Handprint Lamb Craft Instructions

Trace your child’s hand on the construction paper. We used pink and brown paper. Cut out your child’s handprint.

Glue the cotton balls on the hand cutout. The fingers of your hand will be the lamb’s legs.

The thumb of your paper hand is the lamb’s head. Glue a googly eye on the thumb (or use a marker to draw an eye). Draw your lamb a mouth with the marker.

Ways To Adapt This Craft

Instead of gluing cotton balls on the hand cutout, you can use a sponge to sponge paint white paint for the sheep’s fur.

I think this lamb craft would look nice as part of a painting. To do this, paint green grass and a blue sky on green paper. Then glue your handprint lamb on your painting so it looks like he is standing on the green grass.
