I recommend using green cardstock or shorter blades of grass. We didn’t have a problem with shorter blades of grass with the green construction paper.

Flower Crown Craft Instructions

Cut the green construction paper to look like grass. I needed 2 pieces of construction paper to fit around my son’s head. If you are using construction paper, shorter blades of grass work best.

Draw and color flowers on your white paper. Cut out your colorful flowers.

Next, glue your flowers on your paper blades of grass.

Form the blades of grass into a circle that fits on top of your child’s head. Staple the grass into a circle shape.

Ways To Adapt This Craft

Instead of gluing flowers to your grass crown, you can glue on colorful paper butterflies. Draw and color butterflies on your white paper. Cut out the butterflies and glue them on your crown.
