This snowflake person craft for kids is so easy to make. You probably already have the supplies needed. Perfect winter craft for preschoolers, kindergarteners, and elementary kids.
My kids love making paper snowflakes. When the weather gets colder, they grab the white paper and scissors and make a lot of snowflakes.
Usually they hang them around the house. But this year, I decided to turn the paper snowflakes into crafts.
My most popular craft is this paper pumpkin person. I designed this winter craft the same.
My kids don’t make fancy snowflakes. They just folded white paper multiple times and cut small shapes.
I know there are fancier ways to make snowflakes, but the stage my kids are at is making simple snowflakes.
Your kids are practicing scissor skills when they cut the small shapes to make the snowflakes. And are working on their hand – eye coordination folding the strips of construction paper.
If your kids are too young to use scissors, you can buy foam snowflakes.
We didn’t decorate our snowflakes, but if you want you can decorate them with glitter or sticker gems.

Snowflake Person Instructions
To make snowflakes: fold white paper multiple times. Cut small shapes along folded edge. Unfold a section and cut more small shapes along folded edge.
Make 1 large snowflake and 4 small snowflakes.
Next, cut 4 strips from construction paper (can be any color). Fold strips accordion style.
Then, glue 2 accordion folded strips to the bottom of the large snowflake (these will be the legs).
Next, glue a small snowflake to each of the legs.
Glue 1 accordion folded strip of construction paper to each side of the snowflake. This will be the arms.
Glue a small snowflake to the end of each arm.
Glue googly eyes to the front of your snowflake person.
This makes a cute winter decoration.
