We cut the scrap paper into different size squares for this St. Patrick’s Day kids craft. Or, if your child is too young for scissors, he can tear the paper into small squares.

This craft was very easy and took less than 30 minutes to make.

Draw and cut out a shamrock on light green construction paper. Don’t worry if you can’t draw, you can use shamrock clip art.

Cut the green construction paper into small squares. They do not have to be the same size.

Small squares of colored green paper are being glued to a green shamrock.

Then, glue the small squares of construction paper on your shamrock. I used a glue stick. Your child can add as many colored squares to his shamrock as he likes.
