This hand and shoe print reindeer is a keepsake Christmas kids craft. It is easy to make and makes a festive Christmas decoration.

I like to save their crafts made with their handprints and I store them with the Christmas decorations. 

Each year, I love to look at them and I am amazed at how much bigger their hands get each year.  

My kids enjoyed making this reindeer craft.  My son wanted to trace his shoe while he was still wearing it.  It is easier to trace the shoe if your child isn’t still wearing the shoe. 

My kids also needed help tracing their hands. 

When my kids were finished with this simple kids Christmas craft, they sang Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer while dancing with the reindeers they just made.

Reindeer Craft Supplies:

• 2 sheets of brown construction paper
• scissors
• glue stick
• pencil
• 2 googly eyes
• 1 red pom pom

Reindeer Craft Instructions:

Draw around your child’s shoe on one sheet of brown construction paper. This will be the reindeer’s head.

On the other sheet of brown construction paper, trace each of your child’s hands. 

Then, cut out the shoe and handprints.

Glue the hand prints to the toe area of the of the shoe cutout.  The hand prints will be the reindeer’s antlers. 

Then, glue 2 googly eyes onto the shoe print.  Glue 1 red puff ball to the shoe print for the nose.

That’s it! Enjoy your keepsake reindeer kids craft.
