Moon and bat craft.

One crisp Saturday morning, Bailey, a girl who loved to craft, gathered her supplies: a paper plate, vibrant yellow paint, a foam paintbrush, and the free printable bat silhouettes. She spread newspaper across the table to protect it from the paint splatters and set to work.

With determined strokes, Bailey painted the paper plate a bright yellow, imagining it as a radiant moon in a moonlit sky. She carefully covered every inch of the plate, even the edges. Bailey’s paper plate moon looked like it belonged in the night sky.

While her paper plate was drying, her mom printed the free printable bat silhouettes (see link below) and carefully cut out her favorite bats.

Bailey placed the bat silhouette on her paper plate moon, as if it were taking flight across the night sky. She applied a small amount of glue to the back of the bat and pressed it onto the plate, securing it firmly in place. Bailey smiled, happy with her Halloween craft.

As the sun began to set, Bailey and her parents hung the Halloween moon and bat craft in their front window. Bailey couldn’t have been happier with the way it turned out. It looked as if it were part of a magical Halloween night.
