Footprint Turkey Craft Instructions
Paint washable brown paint on the bottom of your child’s foot. Then, press the painted foot onto white paper. Let dry completely.
Then, glue feathers around brown footprint.
Next, glue 2 googly eyes on heel of the brown footprint. This will be the turkey’s head.
Then, cut a small diamond from the orange construction paper. Then, fold the orange diamond in half. This is the beak of the turkey.
Glue the orange diamond on the heel of the foot below the googly eyes.
Next, cut a small, red oval from red construction paper. This is the wattle of the turkey. Glue the red oval next to the turkey’s beak.
Don’t forget to write your child’s name and date on this keepsake Thanksgiving craft.
I hope you enjoy making this footprint turkey with your kids.
Ways To Adapt This Craft
Instead of painting the bottom of your child’s foot for the footprint turkey, you can trace his footprint on brown paper. Then, cut out the footprint and glue it to the white paper.
If you don’t have any craft feathers, you can cut feather shapes out of construction paper and glue them around your child’s footprint.
