I love how they approach art differently. My daughter didn’t want any white paper showing in her painting and my son wanted to be able to see the heart shapes.

Adults cut out heart shapes from the sponge for your kids. Adults should complete this step. I found it easier to draw the hearts on the sponge and then cut it out.
Dip the heart shape sponges into paint.
Press the heart shaped painted sponge onto the white paper. Add as many heart shapes to your paper as you want.

Ways To Adapt This Craft
This is a simple craft and there isn’t many ways to adapt this craft.
I have seen pictures of people using a clothespin to hold the sponge. I think this would help keep your kids hands clean.
I recommend saving your heart sponges after making this craft. You can use your heart sponges to make sponge painted shamrocks.
