Easy Heart Owl Craft - Free Printable

Grab your favorite crayons and print this free printable heart owl craft. This owl craft is so adorable and so easy to make.

Just print, color, cut and glue. That’s it.

I included two heart owl templates for you. The first template is ready for your kids to color. The second template is already colored (perfect for days when you need a quick craft).

Simply, print the owl template and have your kids color it with their favorite coloring medium. We used crayons. Don’t worry if they color out of the lines, the template will be cut out.

Depending on the age of your child, he may need help cutting out the owl.

Then, glue the owl together. We glued some of the pieces to the back of the owl, such as the ears and the feet. Your child can glue it together however their imagination likes.

How To Make A Heart Owl

Print the free printable heart owl craft. See link below.

Next, color the owl template and then cut it out.

The free printable heart owl template has been colored with pink and red crayons and cut out.

Then, glue the medium heart to the top of the large heart, so that half of the medium heart is above the large heart. This will be the owl’s head and body. See picture.

The medium heart from the owl template is glued on top of the large heart.

Glue the heart with the saying to the center of the large heart. If you don’t want the saying on your owl, just turn the heart over.

The heart with the saying "owl always love you" is glued to the center of the large heart.

Next, glue 1 heart wing to each side of the owl. Slide the top of the heart wing under the owl’s head (the medium heart).

The heart wing from the owl template is glued to each side of the heart owl body.

Then, glue on the small heart ears to the top of the owl’s head.

The small heart owl's ears were added to the heart body.

Then, glue on the owls’ feet, googly eyes and beak.

How To Print the Free Owl Template

You can either print the colored owl template or the plain owl template or both. The plain owl template is the one that needs to be colored.
